Socata TB20GT v2.0 for FS9
Rick, try to fly this plane from the VC instead of the 2D panel, this one of
the few planes where I like the VC and it feels quite real to fly it that
way.
Have to admit pitch is a bit hard to control, feels like there is not enough
range in the joystick, I found I use the trim buttons a lot. Landing is much
easier than takeoff. Crashed the first 2 takeoffs using the 2D panel, then
did another 2 circuits and landings from the VC (touchy on takeoff but
otherwise no problems) and it felt quite good.
Also feels a but underpowered, but I normally don't do GA aircraft - so I
don't have a lot of reference. But must say this one I like, as I said above
feels best from the VC (except for the left window frame which is very thick
and takes away a lot of visibility)
Panel is superb in the VC, a bit too large for my liking in the 2D view.
I did not notice the framerate issues mentioned by John Grabovski, mine
stayed solid around 20fps all the way (around Honolulu International).
Thanks Bill, for this exceptional effort. -- Oscar
