| My son got FFXI and after installation was getting lockups(game just quit and went back to windows desktop). This only occured during fight sequences. He is using a PSX to USB adapter from Radio Shack. After reading some of the posts on the FFXI site he turned "off" the force feedback on the controller and the problem went away. Anyone else seen this? Any other solutions to get force feedback to back? |

And to think all those companies like Logitech and Microsoft make force feedback joysticks and companies put the option to enable force feedback in their games and Microsoft's DirectX has APIs to let game makers use force feedback. All that and PC games don't have it. -- AIM: FrznFoodClerk (actually me) email: de_on-lag@co_cast.net (_ = m) website: under construction Need a technician in the south Jersey area? email/IM for rates/services |
