| This is why I took about 65hrs to complete Zelda, because of all the little things that make it more an experience and less of a hack-n-slash, mission-intensive, have-to-beat-the-clock-on-every-level type of game. For those of you (Day, Nancy) who are explorers like me, if you haven't checked out the fishing hole shack >in it's entirety<, do so. It was highly entertaining. Any questions as to what I'm talking about, anyone can email me separately so as not to spoil it for everyone else. As far as the ending goes, I would never have thought of the things that happened, happening. Quite the wild ride. I wish I had an audience during the final battles, because I was pretty vocal at the end, and noone saw it. I will, as always, be eagerly anticipating the next installment, whenever it comes out, and hope that it's bigger, harder, longer and even more satisfying at the end. Which can be taken two different ways, so get your minds out of the gutter, people. =) TME -- "Disintegration is a 'slight bummer'?" -Raj, "Camp Lazlo" |

Well Magic that's great that you have finished. Poor little old me, I'm still waiting to get my hands on the Wii. You're right I am an explorer and I can't wait to get started on the game. I guess it will be after Christmas before I will be able to get one. They sell out as fast as they come in around here and I'm usually having to work and can't be there the get one. When I do get started on the game I will be sure to ask you about the fishing hole shack. I'm sure it will take me longer than 65 hrs to complete because I like to take my time and explore. That's one thing I didn't like about Majora's Mask the time limit thing. Seeing as how I'm 60 years old it takes me longer to do things I had a hard time getting through the dungeon's and finding all the 15 fairies too before I had to go back to day one. I'm so glad this one isn't like that and I will be able to enjoy it without having to hurry. |

Just this evening I checked out the fishing shack (found it while looking for bugs). How much more fun could fishing be?? The look onLink's face when they get away is priceless. The fishing shack in it's entirety is driving me nuts though, grrr. I just put the mirror back together last night so at 65+ hours in I have a lot more to do. I'm glad the ending was so much fun. I too can't wait for the next installement hoping it will be out before the end of the decade. ![]() |

The games are challenging with the Wii, I don't know how they will be with the 'Cube version. Have you 'tapped' on the fish tank glass yet? =) TME |

| "Nancy" <msnjy3@charter.net> wrote in message news:qMphh.1205$Fa4.925@newsfe03.lga... It took me so long to get used to the time problem with MM that I was ready to throw in the towel on the game. Morbid sense of curiosity, I let the moon crash a few times just to hear that sorrowful song play. It really makes you feel that the whole universe is coming to an end. Yes, you don't have to hurry on this installment, and there's tons to explore. Hopefully you've gotten a Wii by now! TME |

It was an accident, I didn't mean to make to tap on the glass. Learned my lesson though. The fishing area is a nice bit of whimsy, I really enjoyed it. I'm done with the fishing shack for now though, too frustrating, I just can't get it. I was dead set on picking up the GC version of this game because I still find the swording with the remote a bit off. I think I will try to find a copy eventually. I just can't shake the feeling it would feel more at home on the GC. Right now I'm in that darn cave, can't get past the level 42 (or so). |

| "Day" <day_time_night@yahoo.ca> wrote in message news:UNpjh.95502$rv4.10703@edtnps90... The first time for me was an accident too.. Then I decided to see what would happen if I deliberately did it a few times. Hee hee! Learned my lesson though. The fishing area is a nice bit of Try clearing out the armored foes with a couple of well-placed explosive-tipped arrows. This works if you hit them just in front of them to blow off their armor. Once the armor is clear, and they toss their swords at you, then you have to go toe to toe. I don't know about everyone else, but I like the fact that some of those armored enemies are tough to beat and you have to really be good with the sword to do it. Makes me feel as though I'm watching a well- rehearsed fight scene in a movie, but I'm controlling the action. Good luck, Day! TME |
