Re-enter the forest temple

I finished the forest temple without getting the heart piece from the
room with the centipedes. Now when I go back into the temple I can't
reach that room because the monkeys aren't there to help me cross the
ropes. Does anyone have any suggestions?

There's plenty of pieces of heart out there, one will not make or break
it right now. Just don't go picking any fights that you may not be
able to win.

The other thought that springs to mind is, go back to all the places
where the monkeys were and see if you can't get them again.
