I really need help. Have asked several times, but no one responded.
My problem is the Snowpeak Ruins.
I am trying to depress the floor switch in the cold storage room (second
time there) so I can get to the second floor.
I am begging for someone to help me. I have moved the 3 crates around for
almost 2 wks. No luck. The manual says to move "one space", but this is
not possible for me, as Link slides on the ice as well as the crates too.
Someone please help me, I can not go forward until this "puzzle" is worked
out.
Thanks so much,
NJ

You have had at least two replies, here's mine copied from one of your other
posts:

"Ok, so, my guide should work for you since it uses cardinal points. If it
doesn't work, reverse the directions I guess. The guide says,"

"Break the ice on the middle switch and on the frozen block. Push the block
that ress onthe first switch to move it north. Push the one that was in ice
to move it south, west, then north to line it up with the first block that
you pushed.

Return to the first block and push it east, south, west, then north to have
it rest on the middle switch. That will open a door on the second floor."
"

If this doesn't help, there a bunch of guides at www.gamefaqs.com

Could you see that?

It would be mirrored if Wii...

I got Game Cube, too?

5 steps...

I do not know the original positions, as they stood in "open mode" when I
came back. But I think it does not matter anyways. Just follow it 1, 2, 3,
4, and 5.

I'll elaborate if needed.

I recalled how to do it once I came back, I had a strugle with this one
myself. That is why I love Zelda though.

Happy gaming.

Go to www.gamefaqs.com and you can find a walkthough that was made by
DarkFury3827 that shows a diagram of the blocks and step by step of how to
move them. You just have to scroll down through the walkthrough till you
find Snowpeak Ruins.

BTW:

Including the way I described, and can elaborate on, there are numerous
other ways to do this....

They key is using a block as a stopper, then leave the block, you puched
against it, and use the one you puched against "it" as a stopper, the second
time around...

I can mail you the picture if you are still stuck...

Here is another suggestion, Put the blocks back in their original position
where they were before you broke the ice on the block and the middle switch
and start from there. I got stuck there too and it helped me to start from
the beginning. Also when you first enter the room that will be South, use
that as your point of how to move the blocks. If it tells you to move the
east block then go to the point where you came in and look to the east.
That's how I figured it out.

I got to say, that suggestion is stupid...

Right out stupid..

It is as easy as it has been shown several times now, no matter where you
got the blocks to start with...

Well everyone to their own opinion. I just know it helped me to do it that
way when I got stuck.

Well, this comment is outright rude and there was no call for it.
