For those who are interested, the FS9 version 2.0 of the award winning
Socata TB20GT is now available at avsim.com

TB20_v2.zip is the filename.

In less than 24 hrs., it's already passed the record for "1st day

Hi Bill,

You must be joking, Mate - I, for one, just didn't think you'd have the
time to do that, given all your other commitments - well done, and lucky
us!! :-))

Regards,
John

Hi Don,

Ah, that's good - you can clear the ice off the runways then!

And that's probably the only situation where things don't happen as fast
in Aus' as in Dodo Land........

Thinking re whether to break left or right,

Er, you're welcome, John. I'll accept the thanks with grace, but will
pass on the pucker...

I hope that Yannick & crew will soon update the little Robin DR400 for
FS9. It's a lot like flying a Renault Dauphine, but it's a lot of fun!

JW???

Just of interest Bill what was involved in the upgrade?? With all of us
having probs with the mismatch it would be handy to have an understanding of
the areas that required attention. Many thanks..

Don

Well, now that I've got the plane downloaded I must say I seem to be
having "elevator issues."

Controlling the pitch is very hard. It wants to go either up or
down...severely. I keep stalling and crashing. Level flight is nearly
impossible.

And yes, everything is calibrated. Not having this trouble in any other
aircraft.

And possibly another issue, though it's too early to tell much about
this: I noticed my frame rates slow as I fly. Took off from Meigs and,
because of the aforementioned elevator problems, decided to return. By
the time I landed the plane I was getting about 5 fps, vs 15-20 when I
took off.

Duplicated the flight in the Mooney Bravo, including coming back for an
"emergency," and my frame rates were good--15-23 all the way.

I know, grumble, grumble, but it is hard to fly this plane. I decided
to go with something easier--like the Lear Jet. ;-) ;-)
