They worked quite well but we got bored with them after an hour or so. They lay in a drawer until recently until I sold them for a third of the price I paid. Some people swear by these things but we wrote them off as a good idea with a disappointing realisation. Being something of a sceptic on these matters, I cannot fail to notice that these glasses tend to get rave reviews on sites that also carry EDimensional pop-ups and editorial puffs. No doubt others will post their more positive views. For what it's worth, my advice would be to ask yourself whether you can afford write your disappointment off to experience. If you can, then buy the specs and you may enjoy them. |

Very very poor product for use in flightsim. Their usefullness depends on the game - use them in certain first person shooters and the effect is truly great but use them in FS and you will be disapointed. I found if they were set so the cockpit looked great then the outside was flat. Set them for a 3d outside and the cockpit was so 3d you would get a headache in 3 seconds. Obviously can't be flown in the 2d cockpit as you will see 2 cockpits when you fly. I agree with the previous poster that these glasses are ok for an hours worth of wow only - after this period you will put them in the drawer never to be seen again. MrBitsy h2so4 wrote: -- MrBitsy |

I actually enjoy the effect 3d glasses give in LongbowII. I use them all the time. The pair I own are EyeArt 3d glasses. I use the old Wicked3d driver that runs fine with the Voodoo5. The drive allows me to set LongbowII resolution to higher as well (1024x768 with 4xFSAA looks good) It just gives a kick to an old helo sim and keeps me flying it. -WW "kingsnake11" <kingsnake11@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:aRFib.86493$6C4.31218@pd7tw1no... have |

I entirely agree with those who say they are Ok for an hour and then never again. They certainly work, but in Flight Sims they make the screen a lot darker and after a while you just want to tear them off and throw them away. Mine have lain abandoned on my desk for nearly a year now! --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
