Just in case my news server lost my last reply (it doesn't show up on

My news server seems to be buggered at the moment and I had to go to

to see the replies to my post. Maybe time to upgrade isp's as well???

I budgeted for $2,500 AU. But the 5900 Ultra put me over budget by
about
$400.

The system hasn't been built yet, but I hope to finalize something
this
week-end and set the wheels in motion.

I decided on a system based on Katy's advise in an earlier thread...

P4 3.0 with 800 Mhz FSB.
Asus MB.
1 Gig of Kingston duel channel ram.
40 Gig primary HD.
80 Gig secondary HD.

I think I'll take your advise Derek and go with the 5600 Ultra at this
time,
as FS9 is the only DX9 game
I'm really interested in. I'll worry about a graphics card upgrade
when and
if the time comes.

I thought all games that required DX9 took advantage of it. As you may have
gathered, I'm not very technical when it comes to computers. Either hardware
or software. lol.
