| Well, not a joystick, but I dug out a PC gamepad that I used to use all the time for "Day of Defeat" and "Battlefield 1942". After giving FS9 a run with a controller, all I can say is - [CENSORED]! I can't believe I've been pecking away at the keyboard, like an idiot, for the last couple of months! The overall experience playing this has just increased TEN FOLD! First attempt at an ILS landing, not a problem at all. I was able to flare nice and smoothly right onto the runway. Banking and turning is smooth as glass. WOW This is an entirely new experience now. If anyone else is still pecking at the keyboard (I'm no doubt the only idiot that was), get yourself some sort of controller right away! This is simply awesome now! The arrow keys on my keyboard will be happy too. I wouldn't be too much longer before the paint was rubbed completetly off! |

Yes, but many sims supported the mouse for control surfaces. That's what I was planning to use, until I found out FS2004 doesn't support it (apparently FS2002 didn't, either). Yoke on order... --Cy-- "VC" <vtm@comcast.net> wrote in message news:qf-dnU7P1cx1e2WiRVn-iQ@comcast.com... |

If you want to control FS by mouse, look for 'Mouse as Yoke' on the page below.
