Re the panel folder does it have bitmaps for interior views? Is it in this
folder where you see the rear cabin? Does the download use the default VC?

Hi

Ta for replying

I downloaded this file from Flightsim and the description in the sim
and in the readme both say virtual cockpit and walk into the cabin.
It's not that I don't believe you but it does seem odd that nearly 8
megs of download and all the blurb -yet no VC.
I will certainly check the folders Don and get back to you.

A kilt perhaps!
Actually one connection and one daughter who sometimes remembers to
ask questions on my behalf.

I understand that the 3d VC comes as part of the MDL not as part of
the panel. I am using a special panel downloaded from Flightsim. I
just cannnot reconcile nothing in front but doin a U turn to be
confronted by a back end I cannot get into. Talking about the Meljet
of course.
If what I am hearing is indeed the case what a waste of time!!.
cheers

Peter (and Mary - but sorry! no Pau;l)!

OK I've had a look and sure enough it's a full package with a VC and
interior views. Short of downloading it I can only suggest you treat it as
a manual install and check the placement and contents of each folder.
Compare with default layouts if unsure. Reissue the relative CFG's to both
aircraft and panel.
Quite often this is an extraction error where things go in wrong direction,
not all are extracted or an unecessary folder has been added which closes
the path.
Check with Avsim search to see whether there was a prob and whether a patch
has been issued. (I always forget this)
Not much more I can suggest
Don
