| Hi all, I just downloaded a good autopilot / gauge for helicopters in FS 2004 from Flightsim.com (An AS variant I believe, familiar to the one in the Griffon I flew a few years ago). Its pretty good, but a bit cumbersome to manipulate without a callup button on the "dashboard". Its also very LARGE on the screen. I do appreciate the effort that went into it but does any know of an autopilot addon that may be smaller, esier to operate? Maybe even some help in shrinking this one down and putting a custom call button like the GPS button. Sorry for my lack of hacking / modding skills, but I am learning. Sure would appreciate the help. TIA Joe |

1/ I recommend a programme like CFGEdit which works very well in the CFS & fs2000/2002 genres. I haven't tried it on a fs2004 yet! 2. You could try opening the Panel.cfg file in which you placed it. Find the entry that refers to the gauge in question and alter the size direct - this works but can be dicy until you get used to doing it. Don't forget to backup your original first. 3. If either of these two frighten then simply open the window and resize like any other 'windows' window (go to any edge and your curser will change shape to facilitate change)! Enjoy! Hello Peter, Joe, "PeterT" <nothanks@london.ku> schreef in bericht news:fhtv20lqiif3meanst7hrvren8s6k7cji1@4ax.com... One thing to note here. CFGEdit works well with dll based gauges e.g. gauges with a *.gau extension. It can't handle gauges written in *.xml e.g. gauges with a *.cab extension. Also be aware that when saving a panel some sections in the panel.cfg don't get copied. Notably the color section if there. This is in fs2k2 so it'll probably be the same in fs2k4. Just some additional info...;-)) -- Greetings from sunny Amsterdam Jan |
