Default Multiple excludes in scenery.cfg??

To all Scenery.cfg experts -

Could one of you please tell me if it's possible to have multiple
exclude statements for a single entry in scenery.cfg?

I'm trying to eliminate a row of trees that a designer placed too
close to both runways in a San Juan, PR addon.

Rwy 10 was easy as it's close enough to the east-west axis to make an
exclude that doesn't delete other wanted scenery.
But the excludes for rwy 8 had to be cut into 3 sections so as not to
delete wanted airport buildings.

But I can't get these 3 excludes to take. The first in the list works
just fine, but the remaining 2 get ignored. I tried all sort of
continuation characters behind the preceeding exclude lines and even
tried the method used for multiple flatten lines: exclude.0=.....
exclude.1=... - but that didn't work either.

I found a workaround by placing them at the end of 3 other airport
entries with higher priorities than San Juan. The selected airports
don't have excludes of their own.

Is there another, cleaner way?? What am I missing??

I don't understand why MS didn't design the 'excludes' to work like
the 'flattens' where you can specify all 4 corners of your box!

Thanks - and pls no RTFM's :-)
I don't have the SDK's and wouldn't even know which one to get or
where to start looking for my answer.

Salut,

Yes, but...

You could try "ExcBuilder version 2.0 for FS2004"
excbuilderv2.zip
available at avsim.net
It could help a lot.

In the mean time, d/l "FSConnect V2.00"
fsc2.zip
same source

and the BGLComp SDK
http://www.microsoft.com/games/fligh...nloads_sdk.asp

and tell us what you think about the results.

Hi Filipoff

Understand this one - good idea>

What for - so far as I can tell it doesn't actually do anything (in
fs2004 not even write Lat/long)
Excellent choice

Peter

Don't tell me I can't - tell me how I can!
