LOD_TARGET_FPS=xx

In the fs9 cfg file, there is a line for this target frame rate where it is
suppose to do the opposite of the target framerate slider in display
settings. The article I read, which applied to fs2002, said it was 70% of
the target and if the framerate dropped below that number, FS would start
dropping detail to maintain the minimum. I saw it is in there for FS2k4,
does this do anything appreciable? Say, set the upper to 15 and the lower
to 12?

Why do you think this setting is counter to the MAX_FPS slider in FS9?
