Default add on scenery question

Dear all

Is every item placed in Add on scenery folder automatically displayed if
only the folder is selected in the scenery settings OR do you have to go
through the contents of the add on folder and select each individual scenery
folder therein.

Sorry if that sounds confusing

Ta

Nick

Default add on scenery question

Hi,

What kind of folder ?

To made simple:
In an scenery add-on, you have generally 2 folders,
a "scenery" and a "texture".
Those are to be placed in a folder, better named after the
geographical situation (i.e. Australia) which is then added
in your scenery library.

Sometimes, you get an
"addon scenery" (with one or more files called "AF2_XXXX")
"effects"
"texture"
corresponding with folders of same name already in FS directory.
Just copy the files into these folders.

If you get some "Mesh" and/or "Landclass" files too, put them simply
into the "addon scenery".
Or into a special folder of your choice, which must be added in the
scenery library as well.

Is that OK ?

Default add on scenery question

If you place your addons in the the 'scenery' subfolder of Addon
Scenery (and the matching texture in the 'texture' subfolder, then
it's automatically selected since 'Addon Scenery' is active in the
scenery library by default.

But, if you create another subfolder within Addon Scenery with it's
own scenery and texture subfolders, then you need to add them yourself
using the Scenery Library panel!

You have to activate each addon scenery seperately
