| AI traffic loads but does not interact. I've gone into Settings/ATC and set amount of air traffic, then hit okay, and computer says it is loading, but none shows up. I have recently purchased a new beaut computer system that is running 2002 very nicely, have had to reload all my planes and scenery again, and have overcome many obstacles in the refurbish, with the help of this Forum, and now I have a new problem to solve. I have been downloading new Australian scenery and planes, and wonder if the problems somehow exists because of this. Still, I'm getting there slowly with your help. Can anyone help with this one? CYA Dave. |

Hi Dave, Sorry I can't help you with AI Trafic - double dutch to me - but, can I ask you where you've been finding that Australian stuff? Any main source/s? Regards, John "Allens in Oz" <nmall@petrie.hotkey.net.au> wrote in message news:404a6e41_1@news.iprimus.com.au... |

John ... I get all the aussie stuff from: http://www.flightsim.com/cgi/kds?Sfr...ain/search.htm You have to login first, but it's free. Look for the file search section and then type in Qantas under 2002 planes, brisbane under 2002 scenery, etc. There is a wealth of files to download there. Salut, If you are willing to look into the alchemy of AI flights, you need urgently a wonder software made by Lee Swordy, called Traffic Tools. http://www.simviation.com/files/1misc/TTools202.zip With that, you are going to decompile a file called Traffic_nnnn.bgl (have a look few messages up at "Subject: AI help needed" for more details). Then have a look inside the 3 files you have get; Aircrafts.txt, Airports.txt and FlightPlans.txt. What does it say ? -- Filipoff |

Allens in Oz wrote: <snip> A couple of "is it plugged in?" type questions first: Have you added any AI traffic at all, or are you using the default AI traffic? Have you gone to a known-busy airport, such as Heathrow, Chicago O'Hare, or LAX, then sat at the runway and listened to the tower frequency? MS-default ATC is not overly busy, so you need to go to a busy sim airport to maximize your odds of seeing traffic. Use Windows Explorer to navigate to \FS9\scenery\world\scenery folder. Look through the file list. Do you have any traffic*.bgl files (where * could be any number or letter)? -- Peter |
