Default Mysterious 'thingies'

Hi all,

I downloaded the Fokker 100/70 planes from
http://fokker.avsim.net/ and must say I really like them. Great
flying characteristics and nice interiors.

Which leads me to my question - in the right-forward and left-forward
interior views one notices some pink 'thingies' with wires leading to
them in the upper outside corners of both windshields.
What the heck are they? Electrical connectors of some kind with the
'pinkies' being plastic covers? But why up on the windshield?

Also, on the pilot's windshield post, there's a small brush in a
holder - what for?
A pencil or pen I could understand ... but a brush??

Just curious ...

Hi Tom,

You mean a hairbrush?

You must have downloaded the female version. :-)

John

Just a guess, but those wires may run to window heaters to
prevent ice build up.
