What programs and languages should I learn to be a video game programmer?

I heard that C++ and Java are good, but I need some definite answers please!
Also, out of the programs you suggest, which are the most popular as far as the amount of games that are made with that software.
Heh, what I meant by languages was programming languages such as Java. Not a speaking language
