Starcraft VS Warcraft 3

Many of my friends have told me that as RTS starcraft is better than
warcraft 3 because it have better strategy and that there are a lot
more international competitions. Is that true? Can anybody elaborate on
the subject?

I don't know about competition online, but I have heard you will get
trashed by players that are good at it.

Hey, I even get trashed by the AI of Starcraft :-(

Personally I like SC better than War3. Kali ftw.
