nintendo DS?

nintendo DS?

Question by yeahoo: nintendo DS?
I wanted to know if nintendo DS or DS lite have pre-installed software like an address book, memos, etc? If not can software be purchased to add these features? I have looked at nintendo's website and wikipedia, any help is much appreciated.

The only thing that is currently on the system when you buy it is Pictochat and a clock. I have heard rumors of some Palm software being developed for the DS but I don't know the status of that. But as far as I know, there is no software for the DS out now that can do what you speak of. Sorry.

well, the nintendo ds is a game console. nintendo has steered the ds away from what your looking for, becuse then it becomes what the psp is. a media deise, not a gaming console. so ifyou are looking for mobile calender and stuff like memos, a smart phone or pda is better.. if you are looking for gaming. The Ds or Dslite is perfect. i would recomend it, for its games, and price. 130 bucks for the ds lite, and the games are great. get new super mario bros, metroid prime hunters, and mario kart. but gaming isnt ur thing, the ds isnt either.
